Home Is Where You Make It

When you think of the idea of “coming home”, you might think of going back to the place, the home where you grew up. Maybe it’s where your family lives for generations, and the familiarity is what makes it home to you. The truth is, it’s often true that home is where you make it! Circumstances might not always be ideal—you may be far from family, from old friends, but you can make a home where you’re at. God tells us to plant our roots and we will bear harvest, grow in faith, and rely on one another as Christ-followers. Home is truly where you make it!

It’s been a wild year—lots of isolation, separation, and loneliness. God has told us that we, as humans, were not meant to do life alone. There is true power in community! God gave us the church—a community of followers of Christ—to be there for one another, support each other, love and care for, and help one another grow in relationship with Jesus. It’s time to COME HOME to experience true community.
