He doesn’t give out of compassion, but rather based on works. But what about the first Christmas? What—or better yet WHO—was the gift given to humanity? Can you earn this gift?

The Gift of Family Forgiveness

We’ve all gotten into fights with our families. Whether it be a short, petty fight, or a huge, decades-long fight, we’ve all been there. You may be holding onto something so old you can’t even remember why you’re mad anymore... but you’re still holding onto that anger or hurt. This Christmas, choose the compassion of FORGIVENESS. Don’t let that fighting take the joy out of celebrating the birth of Christ this Christmas!

The Red Recliner of Christmas

Compassion is seeing the pain in others around you, and then going on to do something about it. The problem is, especially during Christmas time, that we are just too tired to do anything for others. We are weary and collapse into that “recliner”, numbing ourselves to our stress and the world around us by tuning in to the TV or social media, and tuning out of the world. But in order to change the world, we have to get OUT of that recliner. The question is, how do we get out of that recliner this Christmas?
