The Gospel According To Joshua Part 4

The Gospel According To Joshua

March 27, 2024 • Pastor Jason Potter

In this final message of the series “The Gospel According To Joshua” we see Israel at the close of one chapter, but the beginning of a new one. They put back in practice some things they had stopped. This begins with circumcision , which was a physical type and shadow of a the spiritual act of the heart. The intention of circumcision was to be a sign of an inward reality.

We also see Israel keeping the Passover, it wasn’t just a holiday, it meant something to them. Passover is a type and shadow of what Christ did for us on the cross. Now we celebrate Communion to honor and commemorate our new reality, because of His grace we are alive again. Like Israel, we must ask ourselves, as we examine our lives, what does this mean to you and I?

Authentic Conversations: Are You Sabbathed?

May 15, 2024 • Pastor Jason Potter, Pastor Brittany Potter

This week Pastor Jason and Pastor Brittany have an Authentic Conversation regarding Pastor Brittany’s sermon “Are You Sabbathed?” God didn’t have to rest, but when God does what He doesn’t need to do, He shows us what we must do. The Sabbath is the celebration of God’s restoration. While I rest God restores.  God takes our rest personally. When we focus on Him He focuses on us, but we’re not coming for answers, we’re coming for Faith. We don’t serve God because He’ll fix our problems, we serve Him because He loves us. We come to Him to know about Him, to rest in Jesus, in the process He makes us new!

Are You Sabbathed?

May 12, 2024 • Pastor Brittany Potter

In this message Pastor Brittany asks the question “Are You Sabbathed?” Are you living your life with empire mentality or Kingdom concepts? Empires are man made, and all of them fall, only what’s built by God will stand. Jesus came to fulfill God’s plan, and not the gazetta’s or traditions the Pharisees had set up. Jesus was telling them, He will fulfill the law, but He will crush your fences. They had been well intended, to keep people close to God, but they became a burden. What are some fences you’ve place in your life to safeguard what matters? Have they made what matters less of a gift and more of a burden? What important things in your life are distracting you from the most necessary things? It’s time to set aside all that’s diverting our attention and like Mary, set at Jesus’ feet, to find true rest for your soul.
