In this week’s Authentic Conversations Pastor Jason and Pastor Brittany discuss his message “Rejoice Always: Joy Conquers All Circumstances.” As Christians we understand there is a difference between happiness and joy. One person said that happiness is based on happenings, joy is based on relationship. Life is not about happiness, it’s about joy.
We must daily be intentional about rejoicing, remembering that every day we are given is a gift from God. Each of us will experience emotions, yet our joy is not based on how we feel, but our relationship with Christ Jesus. Paul said I press towards the prize, we press towards being with Jesus. Our joy reminds us, no matter what we face, we will spend eternity with our Savior in Heaven.
