This First Wednesday coincided with the beginning of Rosh Hashanah or the Feast Of Trumpets. During this festival the Jews throw bread on the waters. They do this to symbolize what Micah spoke of, The Lord casting our sins into “The Depths Of The Sea.” Pastor Jason reminds us no matter what we face, God is in control.
The Church must trust in Christ alone. When we trust in other things we make Christ secondary, and He is second to no one. We have put our trust in God because He has been faithful, even when we don’t understand, He is working for our good. Christ has redeemed us, and will keep us until He comes to take us home.
