In this message Pastor Jason reminds us to “Rejoice Always (How Joy Conquers Every Circumstance).” Rejoicing is not dependent on circumstances, it’s a response to Who God is and what He has done. Happiness is based on happenings, joy is based on a relationship. There are practical steps we can take to maintain our joy in every situation.
When we start our day with prayer and thanksgiving it causes us to focus on the joy that lies before us. Replacing anxiety with scriptures will help us change our perspective. Finally we can foster joyful community through fellowship. We will experience challenges in this life, but no matter what we face, we can do so with joy because of Christ.
