This message is in regards to the Franklin/Somerset Township Backpack Drive 2024.
Our mission at Point Community Church Somerset is to be a vital partner within our community and because of our partnership and various ways that we’ve supported Pine Grove Manor Elementary School in the past, this year we were asked to support the township’s need to provide children with supplies since their funding was cut.
All we need to do is purchase the backpacks and supplies and deliver them. They will then pack the backpacks themselves.
Due by:
- Sunday 25th at church, PCC Somerset, 1345 Easton Ave, Somerset, NJ 08873 between 9:30am-11:00am
Goal:
- 50 backpacks and 50 of each of the items below were requested, and since God always delivers more than we ask, reaching a goal of 60 backpacks and 60 of each item below would be giving an even bigger blessing!
How to Donate:
- Purchase directly via Amazon list link: https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/1Y0RUF1IMKZM7?ref_=wl_share and make sure items will be delivered by this Friday the 23rd.
- Purchase backpacks and/or supplies on your own and bring them to PCC Somerset, 1345 Easton Ave, Somerset, NJ 08873 between 9:30am-11:00am.
- Donate through the PCC Giving Link: https://secure.subsplash.com/ui/access/K3NWP7/ and note the donation is meant for “PGM Backpack Drive 2024”. ($25 per family is a suggestion but anything will help.) These donations must be made on or before this Wednesday, the 21st, to allow for timely purchase and/or arrival.
Additional serving opportunities:
- We are looking for volunteers to help carry supplies to the car on Sunday the 25th after service
- We are looking for volunteers to help deliver supplies to Pine Grove Manor Elementary School on Monday and pray with Franklin Township representatives. The time has not yet been confirmed for Monday’s delivery, but please text/WhatsApp Vinita Adabala if you are willing to help on or before this Saturday the 24th.
