The Jews, even the disciples of Jesus, would never have picked a woman of Samaria to be a focus of their evangelism or concern. But Jesus went out of His way to witness to her of water that would satisfy her thirst forever - everlasting life! There are so many people around us who may not look like us, may not talk like us, or may not live in our cultural norms. But they are people for whom Jesus died! The fields are indeed “white unto harvest."
