Christianity and giving are inseparably linked. God started the giving by giving His only Son, Jesus, to be the Savior of the world. He gave us to Jesus as a gift as well. The religious crowd of John’s day rejected the free gift of salvation. What will you do with the Gift?

God’s people have a love relationship with the Good Shepherd that should cause us to rejoice and be thankful. He knows us all individually and cares for us all the same. What a faithful Shepherd!

I Am The Door

Israel certainly related to Jesus’ references to sheep and shepherding. He made a very important point about the Jewish religious system using illustrations about the sheepfold, and shepherds. He likened the Jewish religious leaders to dangerous hirelings who are out to abuse the sheep, and Himself as the Good Shepherd who is the Door to the fold of God’s spiritual family.
