Not a single one of us is immune to trials, trouble or difficulties. But in those times we often want to change our circumstances, when God is out to change us.
The Apostle Paul gives us great comfort for the crisis in this passage from 2 Thessalonians.

Paul is writing to a young church at Thessalonica that was being "shaken" and "troubled" by false reports concerning the coming of the Lord. We can benefit by his encouragement to them in the day we are living in, as we see world events racing toward the end of the age.
