Building a friendship or fellowship requires active participation from both parties. Similarly, in our relationship with the Holy Spirit, we should not only speak to Him about our needs but also listen to what He says. Unfortunately, many people don't believe that the Holy Spirit can speak to them, which hinders their ability to develop a deeper connection with Him.
