WEDNESDAY: Bring a soup, sandwiches, or salad

Dr. Don Wilton served as the Senior Pastor of First Baptist Church, Spartanburg, SC for nearly 3 decades. He was the founder and president of The Encouraging Word broadcast ministry, which had the potential to reach households in numerous countries through television, radio, and the internet.

In addition to writing manuals, articles, reviews and publications such as Preaching and Decision Magazines, he is the author of many books: The Absolute Certainty of Life After Death; See You at the Finish Line; Totally Secure; When God Prayed; A Hope and a Future: Overcoming Discouragement; Praying for a Miracle; Encouragement In His Presence; Defying the Odds: Standing Up When You Want To Give Up; Undefeated: God’s Strategy for Successful Living; Forgiven: The Power of the Cross; and Saturdays With Billy.

Dr. Wilton had the privilege of serving as Dr. Billy Graham’s close friend, pastor and personal confidant for nearly 25 years. Much is reflected in his book, SATURDAYS WITH BILLY. Upon Dr. Graham’s call to heaven Dr. Wilton led his world-wide funeral service – all to the glory of God!
