Time spent in God's presence was when God spoke to Moses as one would to a friend, revealing his ways and having such a transformation in Moses that his face even shined with a reflection of God's glory.
We are instructed in Scripture to be holy as God is holy. Made holy by God. Living holy according to God's Word, but never "holier than thou."
