As we continue through Matthew chapter 20, we are confronted with a serious prophecy, a serious misunderstanding, and some serious tenderness. What kind of serious prophecy? Jesus for the third time reveals that He is aiming His life to die and rise again. Ok, so what’s the serious misunderstanding about? Well, right after Jesus declares that His mission is to die and rise again, the 12 disciples begin to bicker (again) about who is going to be the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven. So, what does Jesus do? He gently instructs His disciples (again) about how leadership greatness in the Kingdom works and then shows to them an example of leadership greatness by extending some serious tenderness toward two blind beggars…
