In Matthew 21, Jesus violently cleanses the temple. How do we follow that example? Should we who follow him also seek to violently cleanse the world we live in? Or does following this example have more to do with the state of our own heart?

Make Disciples

As we finish our journey through the Gospel of Matthew, we see the resurrection of our Savior and the mission he gives to all who follow him: make disciples. Renewing our focus on this mission will lead us to glorify our Father and bring people to Him.

Forsaken

"Forsaken." This is a concept none of us wants to experience. To be rejected and despised. And yet, Jesus willingly took our place of being forsaken by God, so we could accepted by Him. We will examine the final statement of Jesus on the cross, and then remember his sacrifice for us as we observe communion together.
