BEYOND

Surrender Beyond

November 13, 2022 • Brian C. Hughes • Luke 14:28, 2 Timothy 4:6–7, Luke 22:42, Acts 2:44–47, Revelation 3:15–16

Commitment is a major spiritual theme, seen throughout the pages of the Bible. Paul, the Apostle, was committed to the cause of Jesus, even at a tremendous cost. Those who started this earliest movement of the church were extremely committed, selling their own possessions to help those in need, while regularly meeting and eating together.  The truth is that commitment is in our DNA and it’s an important part of our spiritual journey. In this final message and culmination of the BEYOND series, join Senior Pastor Brian Hughes as he recaps the two-year vision that God has given to PCC and provides the holy opportunity for you to make a commitment and become a part of that vision. Serve Beyond

November 6, 2022 • Angie Frame • Acts 13:47, Philippians 1:1–4, Matthew 11:12, Acts 1:8

God’s desire is that his work will forcefully advance, and he’s invited us to be part of it over the next two years by going Beyond Our Limits, Beyond Sunday, and Beyond Ourselves. Going Beyond Ourselves—taking the focus off of “me” and serving “beyond”—is what this week’s teaching is about. Our faith calls us to humble ourselves and to think of others’ interests ahead of our own. In this BEYOND teaching, Pastor Angie Frame looks at what this means for your individual life, as well as what it means for PCC as a church. Share Beyond

October 30, 2022 • Brian C. Hughes • 1 Corinthians 9:19–23

If you’re a follower of Jesus, you have a story. With all its twists and turns, somehow you had an encounter with Jesus Christ that changed your life. For those that aren’t followers, many know there is something to the claim that God can be experienced in a personal and powerful way. They’ve seen evidence of it in others’ lives. They are hopeful that it can happen for them. The bridge in that gap is the follower of Jesus with their story to share. In this week’s message, hear one person’s powerful account of being invited into an encounter with God, and discover how you can experience and even have that same impact, no matter where you are on your spiritual journey.

Go Beyond

October 23, 2022 • Brian C. Hughes • Matthew 4:18–20, 2 Corinthians 10:15–16

With this message, we kick off a new series—one that will shape our church, but will also have direct, personal application to your life, too. We’re also going to talk about how your life intersects or should intersect with the church. And it’s important - REALLY important. So much so, we’ve produced a booklet for you so that you could get all the information AND so that you can capture some of the notes from the teaching each week. Check that out at http://pccwired.net/guidebook, sit back, and enjoy this kickoff message!
