I feel very compelled to my heart to call this nation to prayer. I know many of us have been praying and fasting and seeking the Lord. It is so vital because any type of solution that we try to go after outside of the Word of God will ultimately fail. The Bible says the plans of man fail, but the plans of God prevail. Everything that we do in our personal life, in a nation in a city, a family, and a ministry has to be covered with prayer. In fact, when Jesus was walking with his disciples, after they'd seen all the miracles, they came to him in Matthew chapter six and said, "Teach us how to pray." Not "Teach us how to build a big ministry", or "Teach us how to preach", or "Teach us how to do miracles"... They knew that God's will, the intention of God, would come to pass through the vehicle of prayer. Prayer is the backbone from Genesis to Revelation, and we see it over and over and over.
