November 12, 2017 at New Destiny Christian Center • November 12, 2017 • Pastor Paula White-Cain
Paula White-Cain delivers this sermon on November 12, 2017 at the 9AM service of New Destiny Christian Center. Genesis 39:1-3 and Genesis 50:20 We are examining a man by the name of Joseph. He is eleventh of Jacob’s twelve sons, but first child with his favorite wife, Rachel. Don’t get envious just yet, because we’re going to end up in the pit! They were envious of Joseph and his coat of many colors, and it took him to the pit. His blessings landed him up in the pit! Yes, on the one side there is a blessing. BUT on the other side, “CAN YOU STAND TO BE BLESSED?”

Ephesians 5:22-28 The Message (MSG) "Wives, understand and support your husbands in ways that show your support for Christ. The husband provides leadership to his wife the way Christ does to his church, not by domineering but by cherishing. So just as the church submits to Christ as he exercises such leadership, wives should likewise submit to their husbands. 25-28 Husbands, go all out in your love for your wives, exactly as Christ did for the church—a love marked by giving, not getting. Christ’s love makes the church whole. His words evoke her beauty. Everything he does and says is designed to bring the best out of her, dressing her in dazzling white silk, radiant with holiness. And that is how husbands ought to love their wives. They’re really doing themselves a favor—since they’re already “one” in marriage."

Leviticus 23:1-2 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, Concerning the feasts of the LORD, which ye shall proclaim to be holy convocations, even these are my feasts. V27) Also on the tenth day of this seventh month there shall be a day of atonement: it shall be an holy convocation unto you; and ye shall afflict your souls, and offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD. -When you RECEIVE and hold the Word of God in your heart… It will do everything it has claimed -God’s promises do not depend on circumstances. They depend on meeting the conditions. -[James 2:20] reminds us… “Faith without works is dead” -It is not sufficient to sit back & say “I believe”… You MUST activate your faith by APPROPRIATE deeds & actions… -Faith IS an ACT…

The Power of Prayer
September 3, 2017 11AM at New Destiny Christian Center • September 3, 2017 • Pastor Paula White-Cain
2 Chronicles 7:14 NIV “if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” God’s purpose is to restore that which has been lost & then to reconstruct that which has been broken down both individually and corporately Neh 1:1-11 KJV 1) The words of Nehemiah the son of Hachaliah. And it came to pass in the month Chisleu, in the twentieth year, as I was in Shushan the palace, 2) That Hanani, one of my brethren, came, he and certain men of Judah; and I asked them concerning the Jews that had escaped, which were left of the captivity, and concerning Jerusalem. 3) And they said unto me, The remnant that are left of the captivity there in the province are in great affliction and reproach: the wall of Jerusalem also is broken down, and the gates thereof are burned with fire. 4) And it came to pass, when I heard these words, that I sat down and wept, and mourned certain days, and fasted, and prayed before the God of heaven, 5) And said, I beseech thee, O Lord God of heaven, the great and terrible God, that keepeth covenant and mercy for them that love him and observe his commandments: 6) Let thine ear now be attentive, and thine eyes open, that thou mayest hear the prayer of thy servant, which I pray before thee now, day and night, for the children of Israel thy servants, and confess the sins of the children of Israel, which we have sinned against thee: both I and my father's house have sinned. 7) We have dealt very corruptly against thee, and have not kept the commandments, nor the statutes, nor the judgments, which thou commandedst thy servant Moses. 8) Remember, I beseech thee, the word that thou commandedst thy servant Moses, saying, If ye transgress, I will scatter you abroad among the nations: 9) But if ye turn unto me, and keep my commandments, and do them; though there were of you cast out unto the uttermost part of the heaven, yet will I gather them from thence, and will bring them unto the place that I have chosen to set my name there. 10) Now these are thy servants and thy people, whom thou hast redeemed by thy great power, and by thy strong hand. 11) O Lord, I beseech thee, let now thine ear be attentive to the prayer of thy servant, and to the prayer of thy servants, who desire to fear thy name: and prosper, I pray thee, thy servant this day, and grant him mercy in the sight of this man. For I was the king's cupbearer.

When You Pray - Believe
July 23, 2017 at New Destiny Christian Center • July 23, 2017 • Paula White-Cain
Prayer is the Father’s invitation to enter into His Presence. It is the voice of faith to the Father. Prayer gives voice to our needs. Prayer allows us to come boldly into the throne room (Heb. 4:16) Prayer is our ability to stand in the gap and intercede for nations, cities, communities, churches, leaders, families.. to see the will of God enforced over and above the enemy. Prayer is an opportunity to fellowship and commune with God – it creates intimacy. Prayer increases our awareness of God and His role in your life, acknowledging and giving thanks to God in everything.
