Essentials - Part 2

November 24, 2020

Throughout history, the people of God have gained a great set of tools for their spiritual journey. We have unprecedented access to the Bible and have developed our maturity around prayer; but do we have the persistence to learn more? Pastor Allen Jackson invites us to look at our Christian tool box and recalibrate in some areas. We grow even further with our prayer lives and develop a more systematic and greater understanding of the Word of God. In the times we are living through, it is important for the people of God to become more engaged with the person of the Holy Spirit and more aware of what scripture calls us too.

Let Freedom Ring

April 8, 2023

The Spirit of God offers each of us a personal invitation towards freedom. In this sermon, Pastor Allen Jackson discusses how all the freedoms we enjoy come directly from God, and for our children to know the liberties and freedoms we do, the Church must be alive, healthy, and vibrant. God will respond to us as we repent and pray for ourselves, our communities, and our nation. Pastor Allen then leads the congregation in a prayer to ask God into our lives and offers an invitation towards baptism.

When the Lord is moving and calling us to be a part of His plans, it’s normal to feel resistance—we have to wrestle with God in prayer, bringing Him our fears, uncertainties, and doubts, so we can align our hearts with His purposes.
