Jesus left heaven for earth and He was born in the most humble of places, a stable. His birth reminds us not only of God’s love for us but also the reason that Jesus came. He didn’t come to be powerful or to be pampered. He came to give His life for the world.

The angel visited Joseph and told him to take Mary home as his wife. Joseph was troubled by this because Mary was pregnant, but He obeyed God because of what the angel told Him: Mary’s baby is God’s Son and He has come to save the world from their sins.
We Need to Talk

The angel visited Mary told her that she would soon give birth to a baby boy but this baby would be like no other because He is God’s Son. Mary was amazed and confused by this, but she trusted God saying that all things are possible with God. This was true when Jesus was born. It was also true when Jesus died in our place to forgive us. Life and forgiveness through Jesus are real because all things are possible with God.
