Jesus quotes scripture: “This people honors me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me; in vain do they worship me, teaching human precepts as doctrines.” Mark 7:6 What’s that all about? Jesus is saying behavior is important, but not the holier than thou, self-righteous kind. Do your best with your behavior, and don’t be worried about or judgmental of other’s behavior. What’s in your heart is what eventually comes out of you.
