This week's message from Emily DeAngelo focuses on Jesus as the rightful King of the world. In 2 Samuel 7 God makes a promise to David, that he would always have a descendent on the throne. This is an important moment in salvation history, as it shows us that the promised Messiah will come from the line of David. Jesus as King comes to a climax in Revelation 5 where he is crowned with glory and honor. At the cross, Jesus the King was not just crucified, but he was also crowned.
