2023 End-of-Year Giving Needs

Has Orbis Blessed You in 2023? Consider Paying It Forward

As we near the completion of 2023, we realize that some of you may be in the habit of making year-end charitable donations. If the Lord prompts you to give elsewhere, please follow His instruction. If He prompts you to give in our direction, we want to share with you how your gift will be used. It will be directed either to...

1) continue the work of ministry we are already doing at Orbis, or

2) expand our organizational impact in 2024.

Of course, if your gift is not earmarked, we will use it where needed most. Please take a few moments to watch this brief 3-minute video from Julia Elizabeth, who explains some of our needs heading into 2024.

Continuing Our Current Work of Ministry:

- $220K needed to sustain our administrative team and cover operational expenses

- $160K needed to continue providing the Orbis App and its content for free

- $27K needed to sustain OPMN (this amount has been funded for 2024)

NOTE: each of these summary expenses is independent of the others

Expanding Our Organizational Impact:

- $25K needed to hire admin help for OPMN appointment bookings

- $25K-45K to build an online Community Map

- $75-120K to boost the reach of Orbis School of Ministry, thereby training more prayer ministers for OPMN and other outlets of ministry

- $60-75K additional needed to hire a fractional CFO to free Ken's time from organizational maintenance and regulatory compliance. These include paying bills, running payroll, interacting with various federal and state tax authorities, and expense reporting, along with periodic legal and insurance matters, etc.

- $75K to reduce Ken's travel in 2025 (2024 is funded). These funds would defray the honorarium income he earns and would allow him the time to document his experiences in serving the Lord from the past 40 years through book writing and mentoring emerging leaders.

If any of these specific areas resonate with you, feel free to include a note with your donation so we can earmark the funds for 2024.
