Why does David choose to fix his eyes on God rather than his present circumstance? Why does he cry out to God at all? Why does he resolve to praise God in the midst of being hunted by Saul.
The key to changing our topic of speech is to change our heart. We can do this by spending time with God daily but studying His word! When we are in the word of God daily, our heart and our words are filled with praise.
