Episode 84: Racism - Listening & Learning

Levon Dozier

June 3, 2020

We are shifting the focus of our podcast for a period of time to listen and learn about racism in all facets in our current culture, and the history of racism in our country.

In our own self-reflection, we know that we must do better. Many people are asking questions about what can we do? The first thing we want to do is to listen and to learn. We are going to be bringing in guests who have personal experiences with racism in our communities. We want to hear and share stories to create awareness and to learn from our own mistakes.

In this episode, we listen and learn from Levon Dozier. Levon is a pastor at The ROCK Global Outreach Ministries, Inc. in Evansville and Covington, KY. Levon shares his own experiences with racism and injustice all in a lens of the Gospel of Jesus.

Listen and Learn with Levon as he talks about moving from empathy to advocacy, and gives us 3 steps to move forward.
