Happy Easter, OneLife! Jesus is risen and we have much to celebrate! In this Easter message, Brian Barr encourages us to not just believe in Jesus’ resurrection, but to also live out a resurrection life. Jesus rose from the dead so that all who believe in Him can be spiritually resurrected to new life! All the ways we celebrate Easter are wonderful, but the best and most honoring way we can celebrate Easter is by living in the resurrection life that Jesus offers. The reality in our country today is that many people are no longer identifying as Christian. People are realizing that having the label of “Christian” is of no value if it doesn’t come with the transformed life Jesus called His disciples to live. Genuine followers of Jesus must not merely acknowledge the fact of the resurrection, but live the newness of life that Jesus offers. Our old self, with all of its sin, has died with Him. Now we are a new creation living in the empowerment of the same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead! Are you truly living a resurrection life?
