Is your Christian life marked by growth towards spiritual maturity? This week, Rigby and Sue Wallace joined us from Common Grounds Church in South Africa. Rigby preached through Paul’s great prayer for the church in Ephesus - but it is not just a prayer for them, it's a charge for us today to walk in spiritual maturity. As followers of Jesus, we cannot outsource our identity to culture, but rather we are to be “rooted and grounded in love” as a son or daughter of God. We must find our security in the depths of God’s love for us. The Holy Spirit dwells within us, and God changes us from the inside out. We don’t want to be immature and weak followers of Jesus, caught up in insecurity. Rather, we desire to bring glory to God with our lives through His power at work within us.
