Today we celebrate the birth of Jesus! God’s promise to His people was that He would not leave them alone in darkness, but would send Jesus, the Immanuel, “God with us.” This is the miracle of Christmas! Are you living your life on a firm foundation, marked by God with you? Or are you living a life based on trust in your own abilities and wisdom? Jesus is available to you, today. His followers experience His presence with them. We do not have to live life alone, without anyone in our corner. God is near to those who put their trust in Him. Will you trust in Him today?
