Join us for our first service from our new February Series, Transitions! Today, Pastors preach on communion and how it is a common union that we have with God. It is a reminder of what He did on the cross by taking our sickness and sin away. We are told to take communion as often as we will in remembrance of Christ, so we should make it more commonplace than just taking it at church.

In David's early life, he had faith in God and relied on Him for protection against the beasts in the wilderness. Then, David relied on God to defeat Goliath and the Philistines, but David wasn't perfect. Later on while on the run from King Saul, he took shelter with the Philistines. The entire time he stayed with the enemy, he never called out to God or sought His presence. Once David was eventually betrayed by the Philistines and David's mighty men were ready to stone him, David finally sought after God.
