Samson, the last Judge of the Original Testament, was set apart and empowered to bring glory to God and restore the hearts of the people back to God. Instead, Samson used the favor and power of God to serve his own desires. The result of his spiritual blindness was physical blindness and oppression by the enemy. Tonight we review the parallels of this OT narrative and the church of today's generation.

My Father's Business

Did you not know that I must be in My Father's House? This is the answer Jesus provided when asked for an explanation regarding His whereabouts. The meaning is astonishingly simple. Where have you been? What have you been doing? Jesus is saying He came home. To concern Himself with the business of His Father's house. When we come into the family of God we are instantly brought into the Family Business. It is a business that occupies ourselves with the Father's concerns to produce fruit for the Father's Kingdom. What is the Father's Business. The church must lay down the side gigs and embrace the Father's Business.
