Love the sinner, hate the sin

The phrase, "love the sinner, hate the sin," has some truth to it. However, the phrase isn't a Bible verse and it's misunderstood, misleading and misused. So, it's best to drop it from our Christian vocabulary.

It's obvious that Jesus is the center of Christianity. Therefore, when we tell people about our faith we need to tell them Jesus' story.

Churches are declining in attendance and at the same time, fewer Christians are telling people about Jesus. That must change, but we may be reluctant to share our faith unless we understand the heart of God and His love for all people.
