As you read the 5th chapter of Mark’s Gospel you see a father approaching Jesus concerning his sick daughter. On their way to Jairus’ daughter there is this divine interruption. A woman in desperate need of a healing touch from Jesus pushes her way through the crowd for an encounter with Jesus. We see in her story and in her moment that Embracing Desperation and coming to Jesus unhidden leads to a place of Healing and Freedom.
