Christmas Worship - Inspired to Worship

Today we reflect on the response of the shepherds – guardians of the flocks outside of Bethlehem who were visited by angelic hosts and told about the birth of Jesus, the Savior of the world. Their response, as well as the angelic hosts who filled the night sky, was motivated by an inspiration to worship God for this Good News being proclaimed! So we ask the question in this message, “How motivated are we to worship Jesus?” It’s a challenging question that relates to many areas of our lives. May you find new inspiration to worship Jesus this Christmas season as you reflect on all that He is, all that He has promised, and all that He has done for you.

Today we contemplate the journey of the Magi – the wise men from the East who saw the Nativity Star and followed God’s leading to Jerusalem and eventually to Bethlehem, to visit the Christ-Child, Israel’s new-born King. Their journey across the deserts, through the dangerous wastelands and inhospitable countryside was motivated by an inspiration to worship this King. So we ask the question in this message, “How motivated are we to worship Jesus?” It’s a challenging question that relates to many areas of our lives. May you find new inspiration to worship Jesus this Christmas season as you reflect on all that He is, all that He has promised, and all that He has done for you.
