2022 Annual Missions Focus

November 13, 2022 • Pastor Mark Geer • Revelation 17:8, Revelation 21:22–27, Revelation 3:5, Revelation 13:8, Revelation 20:11–15

Today’s is our second message of our 2022 Annual Missions Focus as we talk about Jesus, the Lamb of God, who was sent by God to be the Savior of all mankind. The texts we have chosen this time in Revelation introduce us to a most amazing book among all books – the Lamb’s Book of Life. It is mentioned seven times in the book of Revelation and alluded to throughout Scripture in various ways. We explore what this book is and why it is so important to have your name written in the Lamb’s Book of Life.   Jesus alone is worthy to open the book and to read the names of those inscribed. Is your name there? What can you do to be sure it is? We answer those questions and more in today’s message.

2022 Annual Missions Focus

November 6, 2022 • Pastor Mark Geer • Revelation 5

Today’s message kicks off our 2022 Annual Missions Focus as we talk about Jesus, the Lamb of God, who was sent by God to be the Savior of all mankind. Our text in Revelation takes us into an incredible vision the Apostle John saw of heaven and a most traumatic scene playing out before his eyes as a scroll appeared in the hand of God with critical information concerning the future – but no one was worthy to open the scroll and loose it seals.   But then steps forward Jesus, the Lion of the Tribe of Judah, and the Lamb of God who was slain for the sins of the whole world. He alone is worthy, for He has prevailed to open the scroll and to loose its seven seals, declares one of the elders of heaven!    Join us on this journey to see the significance of this moment in heaven, the critical work of the Lamb of God, and the importance of the role of the Church in proclaiming the message of the Gospel in all the world!
