Guest Speaker - Pastor Leland Geer

December 17, 2023 • Pastor Leland Geer • Mark 1:14–20

Our guest speaker this Sunday is Pastor Leland Geer. We are always blessed to have him share with our congregation. He has decades of experience in pastoral ministry, biblical studies, and preaching the Word of God. In today's message he explored the concept that Jesus has come to deal with the condition of the sinful human heart and change it. Jesus' primary focus when He came into the world was to address the spiritual perspective of man and zero in on the heart of man. Pastor Leland address the following points in this message: #1 - The Creator of Change is Jesus Himself: You cannot change your heart, only God can. #2 - The Conditions Establishing That Change is Following Jesus: The Bible points us to Jesus and enables us to follow Him. We must make it our primary pursuit in life to be students of the Word. #3 - You'll Become In Time A Fisher of Men Working With God: Jesus calls us to be His witnesses and He opens the door to give us opportunities to speak of Him as we follow Him. May you find grace and truth in God's Word shared today!

Our guest speaker this Sunday is Pastor Leland Geer. He speaks to us on this Communion Sunday about how "Communion Celebrates Mercy". It is a powerful picture of the wrath of God against sin, the work of Christ on the cross of Calvary and the shedding of His blood, and the impact this had on the heart of God as He pours out His mercy upon those who believe in Jesus! May you find grace and truth in God's Word shared today!

Father's Day 2023 - A Father’s Footsteps: What Will Your Legacy Be?

June 18, 2023 • Pastor Mark Geer • Titus 2:1–8

Today Pastor Mark Geer addresses parents and grandparents, with a focus on fathers and grandfathers, and the importance of leaving a healthy spiritual legacy for their children and grandchildren to follow.   Good role models and examples are not the easiest to come by in our society. But they are out there. They do exist. And the most important place for them to show up is right in our homes – in the persons that have the most direct impact on our lives: our parents.   Pastor Mark guides us through the important instructions the Apostle Paul left for a young pastor named Titus. Guidelines and exhortations for the whole church, including older men and women, as well as younger men and women. They constitute the qualities for a sound church and for a solid family. If we follow these truths, we can be confident of leaving behind for our kids and grandkids a spiritual legacy worthy of following and honoring. One that will empower our kids to live righteously and godly in this present age.   More power to you fathers and mothers. Have a happy Father’s Day!

Mother's Day 2023

May 14, 2023 • Pastor Mark Geer • 2 Timothy 1:1–14

Today Pastor Mark Geer addresses parents, mothers and fathers, as well as grandparents regarding the importance of passing on to the next generation a spiritual faith and heritage that will guide them through life and into eternity.   We are living in challenging times. Parents rights are being questions and usurped by many institutions, as well as worldly and satanic philosophies. It is up to parents to wage war against these deadly forces and promote a spiritual faith and heritage that their children can identify with and embrace as their own.   Pastor Mark details the following four points in answering the question of how we as parents and grandparents can pass down / pass along their spiritual faith and belief in God to the next generation.   #1 ~ You have to vibrantly possess it.   #2 ~ You have to valiantly live it.   #3 ~ You have to vigorously defend it.   #4 ~ You have to victoriously profess it.   Happy Mother’s Day!
