Guest Speaker - Pastor Diane Bobko

January 3, 2021 • Diane Bobko, Guest Speaker • Luke 11:1–10

It is our delight to have Pastor Diane Bobko as our guest speaker this week. She is a resident of nearby Anacortes and is no stranger to Island County and Skagit County. Pastor Diane has been a part of the Skagit area ministers' group of the Assemblies of God Ministry Network for a number of years now, serving as an associate pastor at several churches, and as the lead pastor of a church plant called LIFE Church in Burlington for several years until 2016. She completed her master's degree in Ministry Leadership from Northwest University in 2017, and was most recently serving as an Associate Pastor at Family Life Assembly of God in Anacortes. Pastor Diane was so kind as to step in a few years ago when Pastor Mark Geer took a 3 month Sabbatical and served as a guest speaker for several Sundays sharing God's Word with our congregation. Her genuine love for God and sincere spirit are a welcoming and refreshing gift to the local church. She is a great teacher of God's Word and we invite you to take to heart these relevant thoughts she brings to us in this message as we kick-off the New Year of 2021 with a focus on prayer.

Evangelist Ernie Salinas

April 18, 2021 • Ernie Salinas, Guest Speaker • Exodus 25:23–30

Evangelist Ernie Salinas shares in our evening service a wonderful concept from the Old Testament Tabernacle regarding the powerful presence and provision of God that translates from the Past to the Present to the Future! Check out these key thoughts in this message as you listen: 1) Moses was instructed to build the tabernacle and furniture as he had seen it displayed in heaven. 2) These are types (shadows) of the heavenly realm! 3) The Table of Shewbread (aka "showbread") unveils the provision and blessing of God - from the manna the Israelites enjoyed in their wilderness wanderings, to the ever present fresh aroma of the bread upon the table in the tabernacle, and now the presence of Christ as the Bread of Life today in our lives. 4) The Fire on the altar also symbolizes the anointing and presence of God that we enjoy today - it was God's supernatural fire that was to never be allowed to die out. Our obligation is to keep this fire of the Holy Spirit stoked and burning in our lives, We hope you find encouragement in this message and that it motivates each of us to keep revival in our hearts and lives as we share the love of Jesus with others.

Evangelist Ernie Salinas

April 18, 2021 • Ernie Salinas, Guest Speaker • Matthew 24:36–39, Genesis 6:5–9

Evangelist Ernie Salinas shares a relevant message with us regarding these days in which we are living. Touching on the current climate of our culture, dealing with the influence of COVID, and the changing times he shows us from Christ's own words and warnings the following: 1) The wickedness that will prevail upon the earth at the Second Coming of Christ. 2) The urgency of the hours in which we are living. 3) The power of Noah's testimony of righteousness in his day. 4) The significance of the testimony of the Church in our day! We hope you find encouragement in this message and that it motivates each of us to take evaluation of our faith in Christ and our walk with Him.

Anna Nail

June 27, 2021 • Anna Nail, Guest Speaker • John 3:16

Anna Nail is a member of Oak Harbor Assembly of God Church and serves on the Advisory Council and leads our Outreach Ministry. She and her husband Oli also serve at Mighty to Save Ministries, a ministry in Oak Harbor that is reaching out to help and bless those struggling with alcohol, drug and addictive issues. Anna has her own remarkable testimony of God's grace and mercy upon her life as she battled with a number of addictions and family struggles from childhood into adulthood. She has written her testimony in a book entitled, "My Name Is Anna" that is available for purchase. In her book she is daring enough to share intimate family secrets, including her childhood fears, adult mistakes and consequences, abuse of alcohol, drugs, over-eating, smoking and other past addictions in order to dull the pain of the past and to fill the loneliness she felt in her life. However, her story has an incredible ending as she writes about how with the help of God, our Creator, she was able to take a journey to combat and not only win the war of addiction, but push forward all the way to living a victorious life in Jesus Christ daily. In today's message she shares her testimony of God's love, grace and providence for her life. May you find hope in your own circumstances as you listen and discover that God has a purpose and plan for your life as well.
