Pastor Josh Keck gives a stirring talk in this message on the topic of “Are You A Disciple?” In it he answers the question, "Why is it important to be a disciple?" If Jesus is Who He says He is (and He is), then we have to believe Him and follow Him as He commanded. And discipleship is what Jesus required of the church. (Luke 14:25-35; John 10:27)

In today's message Pastor Josh gives these six characteristics of a disciple:

1) A true disciple will put God as a priority over family and friends and consistently choose holiness over worldly choices.

2) A true disciple will model self-sacrifice over self-centeredness.

3) A true disciple embraces the life of pain rather than assuming a life of pleasure.

4) A true disciple elevates relationship with God over religion.

5) A true disciple will choose commitment to God over convenience.

6) A true disciple is useful, not useless.

Pastor Ashley Keck gives a motivational talk this Sunday entitled “Get Moving”. Using Matthew 28:18-20, Matthew 4:19, and 2 Corinthians 5:17 she spoke about being a disciple and discipling others. She shares these three points on what is a disciple? 1) A disciple is someone who is following Christ. 2) A disciple is someone who is being changed by Jesus. 3) A disciple is committed to the mission of Jesus. She also shares “Christ's Method” of discipleship: 1) Share: Jesus shared the Gospel and His life with His disciples. 2) Connect: Jesus reached out and connected with people. 3) Minister: Jesus taught His disciples how to minister to others and He gave them what they needed to meet the needs of others. 4) Disciple: Jesus chose 12 men to follow Him and learn Kingdom truth from Him. Testimony Sunday

April 2, 2023 • Revelation 12:11, 1 Peter 3:15

We are excited to share with you a number of personal testimonies of people from our congregation who have experienced the grace of God in their lives and have surrendered their hearts and lives to live and serve Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Their stories reflect on the grace and mercy of Jesus Christ, who came to earth to give His life as the ultimate sacrifice for mankind's sins. As God incarnate (in the flesh), Jesus' holy life and His total surrender to death on the cross of Calvary accomplished the atonement for sin and redemption of humanity that God the Father required. His burial and resurrection to life three days later provided affirmation of His deity, the effectiveness of His sacrifice, and now the witness of His Holy Spirit indwelling Christ Followers today continues to witness to the saving grace of God. We hope you are inspired by these simple testimonies and that they arouse in you an interest and spiritual desire to know Jesus Christ yourself.
