Our special guest speaker this Sunday is Pastor Les Welk, former leader of the Northwest Ministry Network of the Assemblies of God here in the Pacific Northwest and also the pastor of Shoreline Community Church for 18 years.

Pastor Les currently serves as a Counselor at the AgapeHope ministry center and shares the hope and life-renewal this ministry is bringing to missionaries and pastors from around the world through the Word of God and the principles of God's love, healing and forgiveness.

In today's message he shares elements of his own personal struggle and how God met him at a low point in his life and ministry, sustained Him, and restored Him through the simple Biblical principle that "God is at work... I am at rest." As we trust in Him, we can be assured that He will work all things together for good (Romans 8:28) and will never, ever forsake us or abandon us.

Our guest speaker today is Michael & Chelly Rody. The Rody's are AGWM Career Missionary Associates serving in Jakarta, Indonesia doing International Church Ministry with http://iesjakarta.org/. For over 30 years they have been ministering together in multi-ethnic, multi-racial and multi-national contexts, believing God that with dedication over time God is working in a significant and positive way to reach people with the gospel! Their Focus: International Church Ministry! At IES they preach, lead worship, do small groups, offer pre-marital counseling and regularly invest in people to grow God's kingdom everyday. Michael's message today inspires us to remember the unique glory of God that filled the OT Temple, immersed the OT Tabernacle, covered Mt. Sinai at the giving of the Law, and today fills individual believers and collectively the Church of Jesus Christ as temples of the living God - filled by His Holy Spirit! Our guest speaker today is Melody Jamieson. She is a Missionary Associate to Tallin, Estonia and in today's message she shares her story and life-long journey of preparation, ministry, challenges, overcoming obstacles, and ultimately arriving at the fulfillment of God's calling upon her life to the work of missions. He message reminds us that the most effective way to serve the Lord is to hear and answer His call upon your life in obedience and surrender. She reminds us that ministry is all around us. Reaching out to our family members, neighbors, coworkers and friends. Sharing and showing the love of Jesus to those around us. Evangelist Ernie Salinas continues our 2024 Week of Prayer with a special message on Awakening from several selected passages of Scripture that reveal Jesus' heart for the city of Jerusalem. He called to it, wept over it, attended to it, visited it, participated in it's festivals and religious events. What can we take from Jesus' example as we learn to love our city of Oak Harbor (or wherever you live or call home)? God is calling His Church to be the salt and light of the world.
