The Battle for your Mind, Part Two

When you wake up each morning, you may have a plan for your day…errands to run, going to work, going to school… but, in fact, there’s a bigger reality waiting for you. Because each day you wake up, you’re going to war. Your opponent? Satan. The battleground? Your mind. And Satan doesn’t give a flip that you go to church each Sunday, attend a Bible study, or say you love Jesus. The enemy knows that if he can get your mind, he’s got you right where he wants you. Because the enemy knows the truth of Proverbs 23:7… the truth that tells us that “as a man thinks in his heart, so is he.” We can’t afford to sit back and just let the enemy get the victory over our minds. It’s why Proverbs 4 says that we are to guard this “ABOVE ALL ELSE.” In the battle for your mind, there is going to be a victor… and this is one battle that you can’t afford to lose.
