Probably the most famous verse in the Bible says that God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son… (John 3:16). If God loves the world that much, it seems like we should too. But then we come to a passage like the one we are going to be looking at this morning where John warns us not to love the world or anything in the world. So which is is—love or hate?
