This "breaking in" was cause for great fear among those who were the first to experience it, as they recognized that something new and spectacular was happening. Our response should not be fear but attentive wonder and joy at the good news that Christmas bring with it.

Our fear of the unknown can be swallowed in the joy of hope at Christmas.
