The Sunset 2024 Freedom 5k is a hybrid race to raise money and awareness in combating human trafficking. The US Department of State reports that "there is an estimated 27.6 million victims worldwide at any given time". Project Rescue is a ministry comprised of a multinational network of partners "committed to seeing Hope restored in the lives of survivors of sexual exploitation". In-Person Racers: The In-Person timed run begins at 4:30 pm on Saturday, November 9th at Middlebrooks Park in Bonifay, FL.

Virtual Racers: For the virtual event, you may run, jog, or walk anytime, anywhere you choose, between October 1st and November 8th. This is your chance to run your race on your schedule and around the weather! No need

to run in the rain! Use your watch and a pre-measured course, treadmill, or other tracking option, and then email a picture of your results to northsidebonifay@gmail.com by 11:59 pm CDT on November 8th.

Race registrations received before October 25th will receive a race bib, t-shirt, and finisher medal. For virtual runners, these items will be mailed to the address under which the registration was completed.

Registration Fee is non-refundable. If the race is canceled due to weather or other unforeseeable event, your registration fee can be counted as a charitable contribution to the Northside Assembly of God Missions Program.
