Give

1. Sacrificial Care for the Orphan

· Christ has sacrificed to visit us (Luke 1:68 & 7:16)

· God cares for the orphan (Ex. 22:22, Deut. 10:18, John 14:18)

· God compels His people to display sacrificial care for the fatherless

2. Sacrificial Care for the Widow

· God cares for the widow (Ex. 22:22, Deut. 10:18)

· God will take away death and sorrow (Rev. 21:4)

· God compels His people to display sacrificial care for the widow.

3. Sacrificial Care for the World

· God cares for the world (John 3:16)

· Rather than removing Himself to remain unstained, Christ brings purification (Heb. 9:13-14)

· God compels His people to engage the world in the way He has modeled in the Gospel (John 17:16-19)
