Road Trip

Life is a journey. Navigating this journey is not always easy, but there’s help!

Alternate Route

July 3, 2022 • Pastor Mike Towner • Exodus 6:6–8, Exodus 13:17–18, Psalm 13, 1 John 3:20, Romans 8:28

God doesn’t lead his people on the expected route, but God always has a plan and purpose for the journey. Just because life doesn't seem to go our way, doesn't mean we are far from God; quite the opposite in fact. Trust His promise that He is working all things for the good of those who love Him.

Are We There Yet?

July 10, 2022 • Pastor Mike Towner • Romans 6:6, Exodus 13:19, Genesis 15:13–16, Genesis 50:24–26, Ephesians 1:13–14

Have you ever heard the phrase "Are we there yet?" uttered during a road trip? Our lives often feel a lot like a road trip, and we're left asking God "Are we there yet?". God has sealed our destination (heaven), all we need to do as believers is stay on course, and trust in the faithfulness of God.

A Trusted Guide

July 17, 2022 • Pastor Tim Cinnamon • Exodus 13:21–22, Jeremiah 31:1–2, Revelation 2:4–5, Revelation 21:1–4, Deuteronomy 31:6

We all need a guide we can trust in the journey we call life. In the book of Exodus, Jesus was the trusted guide for the people of Israel leading them to the Promised Land. That same God is present with us, standing beside us ready to lead us. Deuteronomy 31:8 says: "It is the LORD who goes before you. He will be with you; he will not leave you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed.”

What's The Point?

July 24, 2022 • Pastor Mike Towner • Ephesians 1:5–6, 1 Corinthians 10:31, Exodus 14:1–4, Isaiah 49:3, Isaiah 43:7

God made you, saved you, and called you to live to give Him Glory. Our lives are meant to be lived so that we give all the glory to God. Romans 11:36 says: "For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things. To Him be glory forever. Amen."

Dead End Ahead

July 31, 2022 • Pastor Mike Towner • Exodus 14:30–31, Exodus 14:10–11, Exodus 14:13, Psalm 46:1, Exodus 14:4

The dead ends in our life are not simply a discomfort in our lives, but rather a path to His purpose. God uses the dead ends in our lives to reveal His glory in a way only He can.
