Worship is not about us. Our theology, our preaching, our music, and our ministries MUST be centered on the gospel. If we are centered on the gospel, then our worship will be a response to what Christ has done on the cross, not on what we bring to God. The good news of the gospel is that God accepts our worship because Christ Jesus is worthy! Christ Jesus is the only One who can offer worthy worship, and the Son goes before the Father on our behalf. So we join with the elders, the saints, and the angels falling down in worship before the Son of God.
