Life can throw you curve balls, can't it? Literal storms and the storms of life can pound you. What's in your heart and on your lips both during the storm and after the storm? Looking at Psalm 107 and the disciples with Jesus in Luke 8, we'll learn to turn to Jesus, trust him in the storm, and praise him afterwards for hi unfailing love and wonderful deeds.

God is a God of truth and light. Christians are commanded by God to live as children of light. This means that Christians are called to goodness, righteousness, and truth while also exposing deeds and darkness. Why then, do some self-proclaimed Christians excuse sin and keep sin hidden? Why do some Christians protect and cover up for those who practice deeds of darkness? What does God think? What does God want every Christian do?

Why were Jesus' last words on the Cross, "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?" Learn how these final words point us to Psalm 22 where we discover Jesus' declaration of trust that God had heard his cry for help. Instead of despair, Jesus was saying that the ends of the earth will remember and turn to the LORD because of what was happening on the Cross!
