Death is pretty final isn't it? I mean, there isn't really any coming back from that. There is a reason all attempts to resuscitate stop after a time of death is proclaimed by medical staff. Its scary, death is, if only because of the unknowns about what happens next. Jesus next "I AM" statement directly addresses our fears. The afterlife is assured for everyone - it is the destination that causes the concern. Why can we be confident and not fearful as we face the guarantee of death? Lets unpack that this Sunday!

Sunday sermon write up: When was the last time you read or heard something about Jesus being the Good Shepherd? Did it go something like, "The Good Shepherd knows His sheep, sheep are dumb, sheep need a shepherd, we are like sheep." I know I've mostly heard messages like this along the way, or at least that's what comes to mind.
