When I say the word hospitality, what do you think of? For me I often equated hospitality with picture perfect food and an elegant setting. Biblical hospitality is far more than fancy food and elegant settings. Biblical hospitality is more about investing in other people’s lives and learning how you can best serve those around you. Life with Jesus is about whole-hearted commitment! It involves focusing our time, attention, and resources toward the Kingdom of God. However, we so easily become apathetic when we are consumed by the things of this world. Psalm 119 starts with these words, "Joyful are people of integrity, who follow the instructions of the Lord. Joyful are those who obey his laws and search for him with all their hearts." I look forward to seeing you this Sunday as we tackle the issue of apathy. -Pastor Ryan
