What is Winterfest?
Winterfest is a weekend retreat going on for 38 years now. This retreat is geared toward middle and high school teens. This weekend is geared toward discipleship. The teachers and guests that come
use real life stories, drama, music and scripture to make the Christian life come alive to the teens involved.
Worship will be acappella praise and worship and are uplifting and engaging. Believing that the Christian life can be very joyful, we bring in the best Christian entertainers we can find to challenge teens with their lifestyle and their attitudes (In the past, we have had Bob Stromberg, One Time Blind, Paul & Nicole, Ted & Lee, Tom Tufts, CPR, Dr. Comedy, Taylor Mason, Lost & Found, Bob Smiley, Curt Cloninger, The Skit Guys, Brad Montague, 3-2-1, UnBound, Hoss Ridgeway, Bean & Bailey, Zak Mirz, Knight Illusions, to name a few).

Travel?
We will be traveling down in vans to Gatlinburg. The trip is approximately 8 hours from North Canton. We will depart at 4PM Thursday, February 12th and return on Monday, February 16th.
Where will we stay?
We will make a portion of the trip on Thursday and stay in a hotel on Thursday evening. We will continue on to Gatlinburg on Friday morning. As in the past, we will stay in a cabin together. Beds are available, but some
students choose to sleep on an air mattress or cot. The cabin provides a real sense of family as our group will eat meals around a table, play board games late into the evening, and hold a daily devotional time each evening (which is an amazing experience for our students).
On the town?
Students will have the opportunity to travel around Gatlinburg in groups (often with adults as well) to experience the unique city of Gatlinburg, Tennessee. There are so many things to do and see. Students are required to periodically checkin with adult leaders.
Meals
Most meals are provided in the cabin. Please let us know of food allergy needs (we may ask that you help provide alternative meal options). However, some meals will be on the town or during travel. When these occur, we do ask that attendees bring additional money to cover those meals. We will do our best to find locations that meet everyones preferences and food allergy needs.
Final thought…
Winterfest was an incredible experience for many of our students in the past. We are looking forward to an amazing event and making new memories with each of you!
