In this week's sermon, Ryan Finney reminds us that the presence of Jesus can turn our darkest days into rejoicing. An example of this is found in Luke 8:41-53, where we meet a man named Jairus. In this story, this synagogue leader is in great despair over his daughter's condition. So, he turned to the only one who could offer any hope and fell at the feet of Jesus.

Jairus’ faith, was rewarded when Jesus entered his home and brought life where there was death, hope where there was hopelessness. This story reminds us that no situation is too far gone when Jesus is in the midst of it. His presence transforms our fear into faith, our sorrow into joy.
